Pitchy Breath Theatre is a project based community theatre company, based at the Hawth Theatre, Crawley which is open to everyone who is 18 or over. We are always looking for new members regardless of age or experience.

With an original objective of adapting classical theatre for a modern audience, Pitchy Breath tackled the likes of Moliere, Rostand and Shakespeare. In 1998 “new writing” was added to the remit and they now aim to premiere at least one new play a year.

Whether staging new or ancient theatre, Pitchy Breath will always seek to produce high quality theatre that is innovative, thought provoking, entertaining and most of all accessible.

Pitchy Breath Theatre is funded and supported by Crawley Community Arts and Crawley Borough Council.
