We All Stood Together – about this play
What motivates someone to get up on stage and lay themselves open to the waspish scrutiny of an often hostile audience? What kind of ego allows a person to disregard the possibility of abject humiliation and despair; turning up in a strange town at a strange time talking to complete strangers?
We All Stood Together is based on a real experience I had at the Hawth Theatre many years ago. In a mad moment I enrolled in a class to learn how to succeed in possibly one of the most feared tasks in entertainment – stand up comedy.

Scratch – about this play
This performance is the culmination of 8 actors and 1 director struggling through roughly 32 hours of chaotic creativity.
During this time the actors have come up with an idea for a story and created the characters, plot and script.
“Are we there yet?”… It has been a fun journey and one in which we often had no idea where it was heading or going to end. We’ve taken wrong turns, gone up blind alleys, stalled and broken down.
Tonight you will see the result of this project … so sit back and enjoy the ride!
